The Battle of Medulla is the twelfth album and fifth EP by General Mumble and the first by Daemien, not including his appearance on Hemikrania.
Prior to making this album, Mumble had a headache. He thought it best to take some codeine for it. As opposed to making him feel better, it made him feel sick and euphoric, and left him with a music block in which he only wanted to make frantic and dissonant noise. This feeling has been described as a feeling of musical possession, hence the album is credited as both Mumble and Daemien.
